Introduction Hi, my name is Ellie, and I'm a Narcoleptic. I am 30 years old. I just recently moved back to the United States in after living 7 years in Germany, and am now living in Pennsylvania. I have "classic" Narcolepsy (that's Narcolepsy with cataplexy), although my cataplexy is mild. I also have mild Sleep Apnea. Despite having Narcolepsy, I do my best to live a normal life. I currently use a combination of medication (Adderall) and two scheduled 15 to 25 minute naps to treat my Narcolepsy. The first nap is at 12 pm and the second nap is at 3 pm. In March 2010, I professed my faith in Jesus, and since then it has been Jesus and his love more than anything that gets me through each day and gives me joy even in the midst of difficult times and the struggles that are part of living with Narcolepsy. God's love for us is so amazing, so awesome, so perfect, that it lifts me up and fulfills me. The Bible says, "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8. But Romans 5:10 says that we were not only sinners, we were "God's enemies." How amazing, then, is it what he has done for us?
