| Introduction | Former political consultant and computer tech turned courier. (It's not just a job, it's an adventure!) If you believe in Astrology, I'm as pure a dual natured Gemini as you'll ever find. I wouldn't say I believe in it myself, but it's creepy how often the 'scopes turn out pretty darn accurate. :-) I'm from NH, but moved around a lot growing up...NY, FL, SC, NC, now back to SC. Just bought a house! I even did a semester abroad in Wales my Junior year of UNCC. I've been rich, poor, urban, rural... you name it and I've been there. As such, I can usually find something in common with nearly anyone. I'm just as much at home in a Goth club as a Republican convention. :-) I've driven in a Presidential motorcade, had dinner with foreign leaders, and even hosted a radio talk show. I'm a fiscally conservative, Fairtax supporting, politically active (edit..currently on a sanity break!), sci-fi/fantasy loving, beer drinking, music listening, computer fixing, Panthers football watching, adventurous, tell it like it is kind of guy who's looking for a career to enjoy, a woman to love, and friendships enough to keep life interesting. myspace.com/xian77 savetalkradio.com |

| Favorite Music | I love everything except for Rap/R&;B and Country, though even some good songs exist in those genres. My favorite bands are of the harder variety, but with actual musicians who can play instruments and sing! Progressive metal incorporates a lot of complexity and some of my favorites even use full orchestra's right along with the guitars and keyboards. Favorite bands include: Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, Savatage, Dream Theater, Stratovarius, Blind Guardian, Rhapsody, Kamelot, and Raintime just to name a few. Of course, off genre but a necessity in any music collection is They Might Be Giants. :-) (edit..this is way too much info on my music tastes. Please don't let the word "metal" scare you to death! This is "good guy" metal, not "let's sacrifice a chicken" metal) :-) |
