| Introduction | At the moment I'm an advanced doctoral candidate working in the University of Illinois's German department. As a blind graduate teaching assistant, I'm always finding out the interesting sides of people as we interact. It's interesting. I'm blogging because it's interesting, it keeps me up-to-date, and it may be that I'll say something interesting or valuable to someone else. If I have, never hesitate to tell me so. Comments and reasoned criticisms are welcome. Other than that, I play chess regularly, travel when time and money allow it, cook when I'm not too tired for it, and I'm an avid, unabashed star trek nut. |

Which is easier to make a model airplane out of and why: a banana peel or a wet sock?
It depends on the type of plane and your own skills, also your level of boredom.
