| Introduction | Welcome! We are Brian and Cynthia Nelson, owners and managers of Nelson Ranch: a 720 cow/calf operation located near Chesaw, Wa. Our Mission and Purpose is to raise quality tender loving care beef so people can eat. Our Motto: Happy Cows, Happy Calves. We are in the business of raising quality beef animals with the utmost respect and loving energy. We provide them with the excellant environment, feed and loving care needed 24/7 in order for them to grow and be healthy and happy. It takes alot of hard loving labor including a lot of blood sweat and tears. Our animals come before us and many times we care for them before we care for ourselves. Our animals would never have the opportunity to live if they were not raised for the purpose of providing us wholesome beef protein. This blog will be a communication tool to help connect consumers with ranching and cows, and the mission of putting food on our plates. We, Ranchers have a very valuable and important purpose: to help feed people in the world. We cannot live without food. Hopefully, we can connect with consumers on a monthly or more often time, telling our ranch story and our adventures. |
