| Introduction | I was born in Holland, am a citizen of Canada and reside in New Zealand. I lived through the Great Depression and World War II, was trained in engineering and am a qualified surveyor, now retired. I have seen how governments slowly whittled away more and more of our freedoms and believe that unless we speak up and assert our rights, we will be no more than vassals in a world controlled by a clique of power-hungry despots, aided by self-serving bureaucrats. The purpose of this web-log is to publish essays to further the cause of freedom as well as comment on its relevance to Hamilton. The articles are original. The are not copyrighted, but it is explicitly understood that the contents will not be quoted out of context. I am proud to call myself a libertarian. |
