| Introduction | Hi I have crafted most of my life, my mum taught me to knit when I was five, and I always got crafty kits for presents, things like basket weaving, beads, and making and painting plaster of paris figures.In 1993 I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and after a mastectomy found knitting difficult, so tried other things flower arranging, salt dough, fimo, etc but card making became my passion, and have been doing it for 20 years now, although I still dabble in other crafts.When I was diagnosed with cancer I didn't know what the future held for me, but I was lucky and have seen all 3 of my children settle down with their own families, and I have 5 wonderful grandchildren, and life is good. |
