About me

Introduction Cary Kamarat, a native of Chicago, received his BA in Modern Languages from Roosevelt University and his MA from Northwestern University’s School of Communication. His poetry has been published in The Federal Poet, Prospectus: A Literary Offering, and in the District Lines Anthology. It has also been aired on Israel National Radio, and has appeared online at First People: Native American Poems and Prayers. The Academic Exchange Quarterly has published his teacher research, his photography has appeared in The Tulane Review, and he has reached a broad international audience through his travel blog at www.travelwalk.blogspot.com. Now a resident of Maryland’s Eastern Shore, he reads his own poetry regularly at several venues in the Washington DC area. He is currently working on publishing his first volume of poems and images.
