Introduction	I'm Jay, or Jason. Either works. I am in Louisiana. I have a humanities degree from Louisiana Tech and work in the mental health field. This site and this blog are a way to share some of my thoughts with the world. I want this to feel like I am having a virtual glass of tea or coffee with someone I enjoy humor- dark and regular. I enjoy "The Golden Girls" and old comedies on TV. I read to relax. Kind of a homebody. I plan to share thoughts on Judaism, life in the South, books and things I read, personal growth, or anything that comes to mind.

Favorite movies	I watch very few movies. I like 80s and 90s films mostly for nostalgia of a culture I didn't experience.
Favorite music	The Beatles, Folk, Janis Joplin, Simon and Garfunkel, Mamas and the Papas, Bonnie Raitt

Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.

Scarves are suffocating-feeling for me. They look nice on others, though.
