Introduction	I am very lucky. On December 30, 2010 my job contract at an international non-profit ended. While I believed in what I was contributing to, I missed having direct contact with the people I was helping. Instead of sitting at a desk waiting to be chosen to go to ‘the field’, I’ve decided to cut out the middle man and go straight there. (This is a result of much soul-searching over a few years!) I am lucky because I have no debt from undergrad (thank you parents!) and have managed to save a reasonable amount to take this risk. Please follow me as I embark on this adventure! Tengo mucha suerte. El 30 de diciembre, 2010 termino mi contrato con un ONG internacional. Aunque crei en el mission de mi ONG, extrane tener contacto directo con quienes les ayude. En vez de esperar ser elejido por un puesto afuera del EEUU, he decidido irme directamente a donde quiero trabajar. (Eso resulto de un proceso de ‘busqueda del alma’ durante unos anos!) Tengo suerte porque no tengo deuda de la Universidad (gracias a mis padres!) y he ahorrado sufficient tomar este riesgo. Por favor, sigue me mientras que comienzo esta aventura.
