Introduction	Welcome to "Basketball Story", a blog about an idea that grew. This story started with a serendipitous trip to Kenya and Uganda with CanAssist African Relief Trust in the winter of 2016. In preparation for this trip to do infrastructure work at multiple schools throughout these two countries, I held a small fundraiser at my school, Truedell Public School, in Kingston, Ontario. The students in Monica McLeod's grade 6 class collected loose change in our "2 Weeks 4 Change" campaign and the funds generated were used to buy school supplies and basketballs for rural African Schools. Little did I know how this simple gesture would develop into the story that it is today. This blog will document the story and the support of the many people and organizations who have helped along the way. Fasten your seatbelts and check in often. It will be a great ride!
