| Introduction | My journey began in December 2009 when a college friend encouraged me to train for the Disney Princess Half Marathon with her. I thought she was nuts! I told her (with half commitment) that I would try it and see how it went. I've always been intrigued by running, but never gave it a serious shot. I always started out too fast and would crash after a minute! I started out slow and set small goals and am doing it. While it most certainly is not easy, I can't express the feeling of accomplishment that I get after a good run! |
