| Favorite music | Hip Hop is my music for every life situation. Hip Hop has his own soul, for me it's music for mind opened people who are cogitating a little bit more than others. That's also the reason why I hate all these modern wannabe rappers, who aren't putting any soul or message into their lyrics, mostly underlaid with electroesque beats which completely lost their roots in the samplebased joints. There are of course also real joints nowadays but it's more an underground movement and largely replaced by the new wackschool shit. I'm representing the Golden Era with the Native Tongue Movement, Conscious Rap, Boom Bap & also some new (mostly) underground joints. I represent also much more music than just Hip Hop. Funk, Jazz, Soul, 60s/70s/Kraut/Psychedelic Rock, Afrobeat, Blues, Many kinds of African & South-american music, Reggae/Dub, Trip Hop, many kinds of experimental stuff & other genres which I have certainly forgotten to mention. |
