Introduction | I live in Ontario, Canada and got married in 2004. I was TTC #1 for 8 long years, and now I finally have a baby in my arms! I have been diagnosed with stage I endometriosis, luteal phase defect, a few fibroids, and now also advanced maternal age and poor egg quality. Hubby has low sperm motility. I am now 42 years old and I have had 5 IUI's and 4 IVF retrievals (2 fresh transfers, 2 cancelled transfers, 2 FETs). All BFNs and 1 chemical pregnancy from IVF #1. My FET in June 2011 resulted in a pregnancy (!!) but we lost our angel ^Lily^ at 13 weeks, 5 days on August 29, 2011. Completely heartbroken, but moved on (3 more IVFs with PGS) and was also considering donor eggs or adoption. IVF transfer #4 (with PGS) was successful and we are now the parents of a beautiful baby boy, born January 6, 2013. March 2014 (trying for baby #2)- IVF #5 with PGS resulted in no healthy embies to transfer. July/ Aug 2014 - DE IVF #1 - (24 year old unproven donor )- chemical, no frozen embies. WTF??? Sept 2014 - DE IVF #2 - new donor selected - (27 year old 3x proven donor). Oct 2014 - transfer 1 blast, freeze 4. BFP! EDD July 13, 2015! |

Favorite Movies | I thought "the Hangover" was pretty funny, and I'm looking forward to seeing "Bad Teacher", since I'm a teacher. A more serious film that I liked was "The King's Speech". |
