| Introduction | I am a frustrated environmentalist who craves a simpler time. I also love travel and experiencing new cultures. All things in moderation is my motto. My first overseas trip was at 13 - I went backpacking with my Mum through China for 2 weeks. I have been addicted ever since (despite a strong fear of flying!). Through travel, I found my other passions: education and the environment. I lived in the USA, Japan and Korea before setting up home in a small town in Victoria, Australia with my husband and daughter. I now have time to explore a simpler lifestyle and love finding ways to minimise consumption and waste. I am a qualified primary and secondary science teacher with a Master of Environment (Education for Sustainability). |
