| Introduction | I am a man, husband (25 yrs), father (4 kids), and a follower of Jesus Christ. I have worked in health care for over 35 years, in hospitals: transporting patients, drawing blood, doing autopsies, and in an ED/trauma center. Professionally I have been a PA for over 25 years, mostly cardiology. For the last 7 years I’ve worked in research with pacemakers and implantable defibrillators. |
| Interests | I like to see myself as a critical thinker. I love to challenge presuppositions and ask the question, "How do we know what we (think we) know? That is why I'm not an evolutionist, and why I am skeptical of the (so called) AIDS epidemic in Africa, and I know that there is not global warming, and definitely nothing caused by us humans! My posts are often a look at the Bible and what it really means, since so much of Western culture has been shaped by this great book!! I like to read, write, hike, exercise, tinker, study, play with photography, astronomy, amateur radio, etc. |
| Favorite movies | I am David, Shawshank Redemption, Men in Black, Lawrence of Arabia, Fiddler on the Roof, |
| Favorite music | Blues, especially blues (electric) guitar, Frank Zappa, Allman Brothers Band, late 60's and early 70's rock, Joe Satriani, Joe Bonamassa. I hate CSN&Y!, early Michael Card (before he became boring), ditto Michael W Smith, some jazz, Classical esp Mozart and Bach |
| Favorite books | Mere Christianity, God of the Possible (Boyd), How Should We Then Live (Schaeffer), Undaunted Courage, The Second Reformation (Beckham), Welcome to the Ivory Tower of Babel (Dr Mike S Adams), John Lawhead books, John Grisham books, early Tom Clancy books, |
