| Introduction | I'm a senior oboe performance major at Vanderbilt University with a minor in philosophy. I started Baroque oboe in July 2011. This blog is a series of reflections on the trials and tribulations of learning, particularly modern and Baroque oboe and aural skills. I'll also be writing about my grad school auditions this year and my process of preparation. For those who don't know exactly what it is a music major does or learns, I hope you'll find this to be an interesting and enlightening narrative. For those of my fellow musicians, I hope some of my comments are thought provoking, helpful, inspiring, or at least, just interesting. :) Please feel free to comment, whether or not you are officially following me on Blogger.
