| Introduction | Hi, I'm Steve. Welcome to one of my blogs. I'm 53 years old and have been a Christian for most of my life. I presently attend Walnut Hill Community Church in Bethel, CT. The name Lambpower came from the book "The Myth Of a Christian Nation" by Dr. Greg Boyd. Dr Boyd describes the difference between earthly kingdoms and God's Kingdom in terms of power. God's Kingdom is seen as Lamb Power. Kingdoms of the world are described as "Lion Power". Lamb power comes under people to help them advance. Lion power tries to gain power over people. I am not a theologian. I write this blog to engage in thoughtful discussions and for fun. I work in a school district IT department. I am married 28 years with no children. I am also a liver and kidney transplant recipient. My views are my own and do not reflect my church or anyone else. |
