| Introduction | As a Careers Adviser with over 10 years’ experience in a large Sixth Form College, I have a professional interest in assisting students who choose to apply to university to make a successful transition to the next stage in their lives. As a parent of 2 daughters, one already at university and the other currently awaiting A Level results, I also want to support them in the best way I can. As a Christian parent that means wanting God’s best for them too. The One More Step blog title comes from the Sydney Carter song that we remember from our younger days – it may now sound a bit cheesy, but it sums up God’s journeying with us every step of the way: “and it’s from the old I travel to the new, keep me travelling along with you”. |
