It's a very rare birth defect that caused a lot of problems with my heart and immune system. My mom and dad are working very hard to get all my problems fixed, and with God's help, I should be 100%! I really appreciate Dr Louise Markert at Duke University--she's the one who figured out how to give me an immune system! And either my mom or dad are going to give me one of their parathyroid glands. Everyone loves me so much, and I am amazed by all the help we have received! God is definitely watching over me! |
