| Introduction | Over many years, Doug Shows has developed a professional identity grounded in responsibility, preparation, and steady decision-making. His work has consistently placed him in situations where clarity matters and actions are closely observed. From competitive sports environments to financial planning discussions and mediation settings, he has relied on structure and discipline rather than reaction. These habits, formed early in adulthood, continue to guide his work today as he serves individuals and families across the Atlanta area. Doug began officiating NCAA Division I men’s basketball in 1993. Entering the profession at that level required dedication to learning, adaptability, and accountability. Through years of consistent performance and evaluation, he earned his first NCAA Tournament assignment in 1998. From there, his officiating career expanded nationwide. He worked games in major conferences and received repeated invitations to conference tournaments and postseason play. His experience includes several Final Four and Championship games, as well as international officiating assignments in more than twelve countries. |
