| Introduction | I am, for the most part, a self-taught sewist. Smocking and heirloom sewing have been my passion for 15 years now - since I became a grandmother. I belong to SAGA, a national organization for smocking, fine sewing and other needle arts. I also belong to 2 local chapters of SAGA. I am the owner of an heirloom sewing and smocking shop on-line and last, but certainly not least, I am blessed to be the Baba [grandmother] of 4 beautiful granddaughters with whom I share my love of embroidery and sewing. |
