If mud is dirt plus water, what is clay?
GUMBO! Growing up in rural South Dakota, we loved to run barefoot through puddles. The muddier the better! Most places were sandy, but one hill was clay, gumbo, that sticks 'til your feet are big as buckets! Oh so hard to get off.
