Introduction	My name is Ashley Van Etten and I am an illustrator/printmaker. I own a company called Willywaw and create screen printed textiles and limited edition serigraphs. My work is inspired by nature, ecosystems and the environment. My husband Joe Beckham, a photographer, and I live quite close to the ocean on a tidal river. Our studio and workshop is a mile from Narragansett Bay. I'm most excited about my limited edition serigraphs, which are screen printed by hand on Arches 88 mould-made paper. All of my collections develop from the original prints. I design, print, cut and sew all of my textiles. They are also screen printed by hand using permanent, water based textile inks that have low toxicity, a wonderful hand and transparent colors.
