| Introduction | My passion with paper began in childhood as I sketched, drew, and colored on almost anything that didn't move! I believe it was a natural progression that later in my life, I'd stumble upon creating scrapbooks as an artistic outlet. However, my artistic muse wasn't simply satisfied with the creation of scrapbook pages, so after creating many albums and accumulating a multitude of art supplies, I soon ventured into creating with rubberstamps. As my passion of rubberstamping grew, so did my curiosity of tips and techniques. The internet soon became my best friend. I was simply amazed at the artwork and knowledge other artists were displaying and sharing so I instantly knew this was something I desired to do. Recently, I learned to sew, quilt, and crazy quilt, so I guess I'm a true Mixed Media artist at heart. Today, I still live in my hometown, am married to a wonderful man,Don. I've one grown daughter, Amber. Being an "empty-nester" allows me the time to seek out inspiration and life provides the opportunity to capture the images and text that I love. There is something magical about putting one's thoughts and feelings into their artwork. I'm simply enjoying the journey! |
