| Introduction | Lidia is an architect and a researcher, currently based at TU Delft working towards her PhD in Building Technology since Dec 2006. She graduated from the faculty of Architecture at the Technion in Haifa 2005, and received the Reiskin Award for the best graduation project of the year. Her PhD research is focusing on designing responsive and adaptive building envelopes inspired & transformed from nature. Lidia has taught “the Skin of the Future” at TU Delft and she has given a workshop on a new approach for the future building envelope. Her work has been published in magazines and conference proceedings, and currently working on journal publications. And she has been busy lately in materializing some of her designs, such as a shading system and a breathing skin. When not working, Lidia likes to travel in the wild and have fun with friends & family. |
