| Introduction | I was born in Niji no Matsubara which translated means "rainbow pine forest" in Kyushu island Japan and raised all over the place since my father was in the USAF. I love to travel, write, read, teach, mentor. I have an AA in Psychology and a BA in Theology. I've been blessed to have visited 42 states and 8 nations and would love to see more! I have never met a people or country I didn't like. As John Newton wrote in his song Amazing Grace: I know what it means to be "blind but now I see." Like C.S. Lewis I was an atheist who finally stopped running and was "surprised by joy!" |

| Favorite movies | Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Princess Bride, Shadowlands, Narnia, Ben Hur A&E Horatio Hornblower series, Pride and Prejudice, and the classics of the 30's and 40's. |
| Favorite music | Classical and jazz. I prefer instrumental music. Oh, I almost forgot: I love Simon and Garfunkel,and Bread. Yikes! Does that date me? |
| Favorite books | It's easier to list my favorite authors: C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, A.W. Tozer Jane Austin, Charles Dickens, Alexander Dumas. Notice that all my favorite authors are dead: that goes for my favorite poets too--Wordsworth, Longfellow, Greenleaf Whittier and Emily Dickinson. |
