| Introduction | The park is symbolic in its own way. Along the side path you noticed small stones on the side way. The stones were collected along river beds. They not only show strength but also resilience on the Kenyan people against terrorism. The fountain is a centre piece at the park .It takes the shape of a famous Chinese peace symbol called the Ying yang. The water flows from one side to the other symbolizing the circle of life. The rough side represents the dark days i.e. the dark day of the August 7th bombing, while the calm side represents Peace. The most significant feature in the Park is the Memorial wall. It has 218 names engraved on the granite slabs in remembrance of those who lost their lives. The names are alphabetically arranged from Achao-zakayo. The hills also represent the mass graves that were dug all over the country to bury the many people that perished on that day. |
| Interests | To serve as an initiative of Peace through Educating people on the horrors and grief of terrorism and also to serve purpose as also to bring the Peace message on board as well |
