| Introduction | I have run a state licensed day care from my home since June, 1990. I started my educational journey to realize my dream of becoming an advocate for families and children who are in need of a voice the summer of 2005. I graduated from UMASS Amherst with my Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Care in May, 2009. I continued with my studies at Walden University and earned my Master’s of Science in Psychology (with a concentration in Social Psychology) in February, 2011. In December, 2012, I earned my second Master’s degree in Early Childhood Studies with a concentration in Early Childhood Public Policy and Advocacy. Now, I am once again returning to further my education. It is my goal to earn my Ed.S. in Educational Technology so I will have the knowledge needed in this area of education as I advocate for those in need of a voice. |

| Favorite books | "I'm Gonna Like Me" by Jamie Lee Curtis and Laura Cornell, is one of my favorite books to use in my daycare curriculum. This is a great book that focuses on the importance of a child liking themselves for who they are. |
