| Introduction | My name is Carla Logan and I am a survivor of child abuse. I have been on a journey toward freedom. Freedom from the lies my abuse instilled in me; freedom from the pain I have carried all my life; freedom from the fear that has kept me in chains and not allowed me to pursue the life I was meant to live. It has been a hard journey toward this freedom that waits for me, but one well worth every single hard step. My nickname is now Freedom Daisy Sunshine, and it makes me smile. |
