Introduction I live in glorious Akron, Ohio, where I edit Barn Owl Review, the Akron Series in Poetry, and the Akron Series in Contemporary Poetics. I am the author of Prairie Fever (Steel Toe Books, 2007), as well as Saint Monica (Black Lawrence Press, 2011), O Holy Insurgency (Black Lawrence Press, 2013), A Sunny Place with Adequate Water (Black Lawrence Press, 2014), and Small Enterprise (Black Lawrence Press, 2015). With John Gallaher, I edited the volume of essays The Monkey and the Wrench: Essays into Contemporary Poetics. Look for my poems in recent and forthcoming issues of Crazyhorse, Guernica, Gulf Coast, Pleaides, Sou'wester, Forklift, Ohio, and Denver Quarterly. In my spare time, I like to photograph garbage.
Interests poetry, creative writing, teaching college English, nature and landscape, American midwest, rust belt poetics, owning as many cats as possible
