| Introduction | Hi, I'm Ricki. A 32 yr old Mom with a complicated life. In 2006 I gave birth to Sevanna Faith LoRee who was born with a dozen different defects ALL heart related. This is my way to share her story and raise awareness on Congenital heart defects, better known as CHD's. 1 in every 85 babies worldwide are born with one or more CHD's. Could your child or unborn baby be the one??? Echocardiograms done inutero and Pulse Oximetry testing done at birth are the 2 biggest non-evasive ways to test for these defects which are the MOST common birth defect and kill more babies & children per year than all pediatric types of cancer combined. Over 4000 babies per country per year will not live to see their first birthday due to not being diagnosed or being diagnosed too late. Please support my cause and help save lives. |
