| Introduction | For over 25 years I have been active in the manufacturing connectivity space. Having a long history in the Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) space, I have founded a series of companies in the field including Memex Electronics (1992), e-Manufacturing Networks (2000), Memex Automation (2006) & now Nexas Networks (2010) - all to optimize CNC connectivity and enhance productivity. I have filed patents on Dynamic Computer Aided Machining (DCAM), Tool Tip Automation & IoT CyberSecurity Networking (2017). My goal has been to lead manufacturing in the machine monitoring, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), DNC, CNC memory & MTConnect connectivity standards areas with enlightened thinking. Today I am most interested in leveraging cloud, wireless & mobile technologies in a secure way on the factory floor. |
