| Introduction | I started this blog after searching for something like it and coming up dry. I was hoping to read the thoughts of another actor who played the role I was about to play. Not because I was looking for a shortcut, but because another person's ideas can sometimes spark your own. I don't know that this will ever be useful to anyone, but at least it helps me to organize my thoughts as I'm working through a play. The initial posts are related to my process of preparing and playing Prospero in The Tempest, but I hope to keep this going after that show closes and discuss other roles I start working on, as well as roles I've played in the past. |
