Introduction	Here is a little about me- I’m a 32 year old girl living in Southern California. I haven’t always been here though; I moved out here about two years ago from Salt Lake City and the first year out here was one of the most intense years of my life. I’ve never had such highs and lows all at the same time. One of the lows, of course, was the weight gain I experienced. I’m not sure if it was depression, stress, my job and its hectic schedule, or a combo of all of the above- but I just kept gaining and gaining, and struggling so hard with it. I finally hit a low (or was it a high?...an all time high you could say..on the scale anyway) in April and decided it was time. Before I moved out here I was a healthy, active woman who was in great shape and loved myself. I was under 135 pounds and fit. I competed in triathlons and races and loved shopping for new clothes to compliment my figure. Of course, all of that has changed. And it’s changing again- this time for good. So come along for the journey; it’s definitely going to be an interesting one.

Favorite Books	I love reading. Books on my dresser right now include: Body Surfing, A wedding in December, The Lace Reader, The Memory Keeper's Daughter, The Pillars of the Earth, Love Walked In, Belong to Me, The Last Summer, Remember me?, Rise and Shine, and Olivia Jules.
