Occupation | Editor of a Miniature Newspaper |
Location | Calgary,, now., Canada |
Introduction | Peter Worden is the founding editor and proud slinger of The Experiment, a miniature newspaper of mostly made-up news in Nanton and Calgary. His writing days are spent juggling an assortment of similarly ridiculous experiments—social, political and in many cases zoological—to do with Calgary, the Foothills region and the world at large. Worden attended Franks School of Writing, which was soon after renamed Frank’s Writing School at his insistence that above all, one should be frank. In his spare time, Peter teaches Esperanto, knits mittens for Pashtun refugees and is considered southern Alberta's foremost expert in espalier. He is a black belt in aiki-jujutsu; his IQ over 340; he does nude art modelling and donates the fee to Cocaine Anonymous, which he co-founded. He once dismantled and rebuilt a 2010 Chevy Cobalt in 43 minutes, beating the previous world record by 11 minutes. He won the Coney Island rollmop eating contest in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011. |
