| Introduction | I'm a British working mother of 2 girls (8 and 10), married to an American, and living in the northwest. I’m in the 35ish to 49ish age band and am enjoying it (most of the time!). I seem to give the appearance that my life is organized, and lived to the fullest though the reality is I feel that I barely make it through the day and am focused on getting everyone off to sleep so I can have a quick moment for me, that is if I can avoid tidying the house, laundry, and getting ahead on the next day’s activities. I have a hard time finding me-time. I work for a software company which suggests I should be tech savvy, and in some ways I am at work but at home I want a simple life and want technology to contribute to me having better experiences in my life. So that's what I hope to share in this blog. I don't have time to wonder at technology but want it to assist in contributing quick moments to my life that bring pleasure. So though I'm after technology suiting me, I have to focus on promoting women to get them in positions to start working for me. That's what this blog is about (in a sometimes round-about way). |
