Introduction	My name is Megen, and I am a 30 year old wife, daughter, sister, and aunt. My husband and I reside in Northeast Ohio, very close to the Pennsylvania border. We are overrun with 4 cats, 4 chickens and one puppy. We recently lost our beloved pot bellied pig, Squiggy, February 25, 2011. Our “mini-farm” is not the same without him; however, we have no plans of getting another. My husband (Todd) and I have been married since May 3rd, 2007. We are two of the most frugal people I know. We enjoy finding new ways to save money and make the most of what we have. My favorite quote is the old Depression Era quote: “Buy it used, wear it out, make it do or do without.” Todd and I are working Dave Ramsey’s Baby Steps to pay off debt, and are currently on Baby Step #2. If you haven’t heard of Dave Ramsey, I highly recommend his book, Total Money Makeover. We have paid off over $21,000 in consumer debt since January 2010 with only $5,000 more to go to be debt free but the house! We do what we can to save money while having fun and making memories along the way!
