Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
I think the evolutionary process of cutlery started with the fingers. Then moved on to spoons and chopsticks. After the great knife migration of 900 B.C.E. spoons began developing runcibility. Natural selection, as well as burgeoning civilization eventually demanded the emergence of an entirely new species.
