| Introduction | I am an engineer by degree and into technology by choice. I like to explore the web and the services that are available. I started this blog to capture those explorations and to let others know what I see and what I find. I'll try and find as much new as I can, but I also think that some of what is already out there could use more time for the masses to understand. A friend shared a quote a while back that always makes me smile - "Arguing with an engineer is like mud wrestling with a pig, after a while you realize the pig enjoys it." I don't expect to engage in arguments on this blog, but I prefer to deal with people directly and to be upfront and not try to read between the lines for the hidden meaning. That of course can help or hurt depending on the type of person you are, but that fits into the typical engineer stereotype pretty well. I live in upstate New York, near Rochester, but I'm really a Philadelphia centric kind of guy. |
