Introduction	I'm a thirty something Alaskan woman who loves my family, loves to laugh, and loves to cook for my four hungry men. I work hard to try to find a balance between nutrition, flavor and economy. Though I'm happiest when cooking with quality ingredients, and try to make as many components of our meals home-made as possible, I've also been known to use a big stick of Velveeta for a cheesy chorizo dip, or a giant can of cream of mushroom soup for a last minute casserole. It's a big job cooking for big appetites (so that's what my mom was talkin about all those years growing up) but it's all worth it to hear from one of the boys....those seven little words......"I want this for my birthday dinner."
