Location Nagpur, Vidarbha/Maharashtra, India
Introduction I like to identify myself as a journalist, who believes that learning is a continuous process. I work in the capacity of Chief Reporter with The Hitavada, the oldest and largest circulated English daily in Central India with editions at Nagpur, Raipur, Jabalpur, and Bhopal. I hail from Chandrapur, and am working at Nagpur since June 2005. I am into journalism with this very newspaper since the year 2000. In 2003, I got Maharashtra Government’s state-level Anant Gopal Sheorey Award for excellence in English journalism. The same year, I also got some more awards for journalism. In 2007, I successfully completed Ministry of Defence’s Defence Correspondent Course (DCC). Apart from other subjects, I have been writing/learning consistently (on) issues related to Defence, Maoism, agriculture, irrigation, power, and international scenario.
