| Introduction | Born and raised in Brazil, Chef Dan began cooking when he was fourteen years old. His Italian and Portuguese grandparents influenced him. Through the years cooking became more than a hobby, it was already a Passion. He has graduated in Architecture and Urbanism. As an Architect he got the opportunity of traveling to a lot of countries. In each country he has acquired knowledge on local dishes and spices. It was the most enjoyable experience of his life. The passion for the Culinary Arts motivated the change from a serious hobby to a full-fledged career commitment. He held positions in the USA and in Brazil working at restaurants, catering and hospital kitchen operations. He graduated from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts with honor. Upon his Graduation he was hired by one of the biggest food service companies in the USA, where he has increased his knowledge on product, food cost, marketing and logistics. Today he dedicates his time to his own Consulting Company called Taste of Life. |
