What kind of tape is best for creating a sculpture?

Masking tape. And I know the duct tape fans are going to hate this answer, but masking tape is infinitely easier to work with. You can tear it more easily, it's more pliable, and it's easier to color. So masking tape would be my choice, should I ever feel an urge to sculpt something from tape.
