IntroductionI'm a 29 y.o female who is rapidly approaching 30. I work for a small marketing/e-media start-up firm, doing a little bit of everything, but mostly marketing, promotions and HR. I secretly miss the corporate world, endless meetings, MS Outlook, and cubicles. Aside from being highly opinionated, overly curious, and easily distracted, I'm also incredibly average. With my next decade only 9 months away, I figure the best way to begin it is by working on my loose ends now; finding a new job (know anyone?), straightening out my finances (living with roommates and answering to a landlord for another 10 years? I hope not), being a better friend (so many people to call, so little motivation...sorry), remembering to feed my dog, and possibly, if I'm lucky, going out on a date or two (this is actually #1 on the list)
InterestsFootball, politics, shopping, reading, pilates, yoga, my dog, marketing, the psychology behind performance and motivation in the workplace, the idea that people are willing to spend $1 million/day in a virtual reality world (everything about SecondLife amazes me)
Favorite moviesOffice Space, Old School, Anchorman, Sixteen Candles, The Departed, St. Elmo's Fire, American Psycho
Favorite musicDave Matthews, Pearl Jam, Pete Yorn, Justin Timberlake, 50 Cent (yes, 50 Cent), Jay Z....everything on my iPod
Favorite booksanything by John Grisham, Sue Grafton, Jodi Picoult, of course Harry Potter, and most recently: Freakonomics & Not Buying It,

Why does the color blue mean raspberry-flavored?

If purple is grape, red is cherry, pink is strawberry, green is lime, yellow is lemon and orange is, well, orange...then, really, what OTHER color is there?
