| Introduction | BlueWorks is a one person music project that concerns political, social or other manifestations about urban LGBTIQ life... ___________ “Blue Works” is a number of songs originally kicked off in 2004 in a genre that mixes electro, dark disco and italo-disco with direct influences from Fischerspooner and Ladytron to Pet Shop Boys and Suede along with references to Queer Theory, Michel Foucault, Jean Baudrillard, porn industry, queer studies and more. ___________ Based upon keywords like "Sex Politics", "Gender", "Social Repression", "Media outcast" and under a comprehensive title like "Songs Of Overrated Intimacy" - BlueWorks has been the only music project in Greece with clear references to LGBTIQ matters and the LGBTIQ way of thinking or/and living. ___________ They are “works dressed in blue”, whatever you may suspect this means and they can be found along with BlueWorks' chronicles at http://mrblueworks.blogspot.com/. ___________ It’s cheap, cheesy and electric! |
