| Introduction | Elizabeth Encarnacion has been a Girl Scout for twenty-seven years, and is a current Girl Scout leader who takes her city-based troop on yearly camping trips. She has camped, built fires, cooked s’mores, sung camp songs, and told scary ghost stories all across North America, from the Appalachian Trail to the Grand Tetons, and from the Canadian Quetico to the Florida Keys.
