Introduction	My profile picture depicts me, planting a tree in Israel in June 2007. The trip was the realization of a lifelong dream and the tree planting an unexpected diversion. Today, I want to learn more about gardening – any type, whether it’s vegetable, flower, or water gardening. But if there is something new to learn, I am ready for it – this includes learning to speak Italian and self-publishing on the web! Now in mid-life, I am also incorporating more exercise daily in my life by walking my two dogs, Tessy and Meadow, in addition to the time spent puttering around in my back yard. Healthy cooking, fresh food, flowers, dirt under my fingernails, resistance exercise, my precious pets, my books, the single life. I guess you could say I’m in my cocoon most of the time, and I emerge when it’s necessary!
