Introduction	I try to be an educated citizen. I try to do my share of community service, I don't believe in paying the government to do everything for us, when we can do it for ourselves. I also, believe in a very important saying someone told me once. If you vote on a law that benefits the majority (52%) and provides a negative to the minority then all you have done is pass a law to make 48% of the people unhappy. How can you have political stability in that scenario? Every law or measure passed should have the intent to benefit the largest percentage of the people as possible with no significant negative effects to those who are not benefitted. If politicians thought like that, wouldn't we have a true democracy?
