Introduction	I have been a horror fan since I first saw Night of the living dead when I was 5 years old. There is very little in the genre I don't like (though I am not a fan of Torture Porn... i.e. "Hostel"). I have been to conventions for horror and haunters and loved every minute of it. Like most horror fans my favorite holiday is Halloween but i can find great stuff in every holiday (Silent Night, Deadly Night anyone???). Not only do I love the horror genre I also love paranormal studies (ok so maybe that is not very different than other fans lol). I currently live in the northern suburbs of Chicago IL (transplant form the Charlotte NC area). Moving around a much as I have I love the fact there are distinct regional "flavors" that the genre highlights...from that old haunted Georgia mansion to Slashers in the Midwest and the occasional Sasquatch in the great North West. (Not to mention the great international Horror's).
