| Introduction | I am Ann Redisch Stampler, the writer of "Where It Began" (Simon Pulse, 2012), a YA novel set in Los Angeles. And I'm working on the next one. I also write picture books, "The Rooster Prince of Breslov" (Clarion, 2010); "Go Home, Mrs. Beekman!" (Dutton, 2008); "Shlemazel and the Remarkable Spoon of Pohost" (Clarion, 2006); and "Something for Nothing" (Clarion, 2003). My upcoming PB's are "The Wooden Sword" (Albert Whitman, 2012), a folk tale from Afghanistan, and "The Cats on Ben Yehuda Street" (Kar-Ben, TBA). [photo by Sonya Sones] |
